September 16, 200322 yr Well I've decided to give FS2004 a second chance...I like many others experienced and still am experiencing terrible frame rates with a high performance machine (2.4 running 2.9 and GeForce 4200Ti card) ILS approach into YWG gave me an average frame rate of 7 tonite. (Done all the tweaks) I have very limited HD space left over due to FS2002 still being installed (less than 1 GB)... the question then is will FS2004 be effected by this? Does it cache anything and it can't with my limited HD space now?? Or is it something else somewhere?Chris
September 16, 200322 yr In a sense, yes. Almost all programs write stuff to the temp directory, so if there's not enough space, it will have to do a lot of disk swaps, so it'll affect your frame rates.I would recommend doing a defrag and scandisk of your hard drive. If you can afford to install another HD, move FS2002 or some other apps you don't need to that other HD.
