Walla Walla bug fix

Featured Replies

Hello all.I've just uploaded a bug-fix for wallawalla090710.zipI discovered that using one of Tomi Lehto / John Wilding's lighted taxiway signs as a moving object for a sound can cause very odd resizing of all instances of that sign if you use the command sign_scale in your flight3.cfg. I'd be interested in knowing if anyone else has noticed the bug...The fix moves the sound to a traffic cone nearby so the sign resizing works as it should. You could just delete the moving object but it's a sky lark and they're on the endangered list now so best to keep one around.(I submitted A J Eisenberg as well if you fancy it.)Regards,Dave

Hi.The fix for Walla Walla is in the library now. I'm sorry it took so long- I didn't provide a proper readme and Avsim's explanation went into my junk-mail folder.Anyhow, here's a couple of pics, before & after. I took them at Walla Walla but the effect is the same throughout FU3: all the C signs are messed up in all regions just by attaching sound to a single one as a moving object (and I was using sign_scale 0.3 in flight3.cfg too). Before, with other signs for comparison (none of the visible C signs had a sound attached to them). After fix (I took the dummy signs out too).Regards,D
