September 21, 200322 yr Hiya,On the Default 737 flap position indicator there are the words:LE Flaps Transit / LE Flaps EXTCan someone tell me what the "LE" stands for?I presume it is Leading Edge, but aren't the flaps at the trailing edge??Leading Edge would be the slats, would it not?ThanksAllblack
September 21, 200322 yr Author I am pretty sure that LE means leading edge *devices* which comprise 6 (8 on NG) slats and 4 LE inboard flaps on the aircraft. [h4]Best Wishes,Randy J.
