FRAME RATES!!!!!!!!!!

Featured Replies

The BEST frame rates I can get is 9, and that does not last very long either. AVG. is 7. Now this is what kills me: It does not matter what resolution I am running, or where I have the sliders adjusted to, or if AA is running or not!!!! Very upseting. I have had many problems with this program. Too badd too, because I love to fly. ( I will not lose faith)I have a p4 2.4g with 1 gig 2700ddr mem, 128mbGEforce4 600ti, Audigy2 sound card, XP Pro.Any ideas? I can run all of my other games without ANY problems... even CFS3.

If you have Transform & Lightning turned off in the hardware page in the sim, try putting it back on. I have noted a HUGE difference in FPS from when its on or off. Probably around a 50% decrease in frames.Have you tried the trick compressing the whole FS9 folder if you have NTFS filesystem on the harddrive?Thats the only ideas I can think of..

Man, I feel for ya! Ihat makes absolutely no sense when I can ruin it maxed with my meager 1 gig system and get 20+ fps with no clouds. I am upgrading my system this week for $1000 if this happens to me, I will quite simming, that is absurd.Did you try the vidoe card renaming in the disply cfg trick, basically it "enables" your card to where you actually see a difference with the sliders.Uninstall EVERYTHING else! LOL probably something in your system that is causing this.Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://mysite.verizon.net/res052cd/mybannercva1.jpgCalVirAir International VAwww.calvirair.comCougar Mountain Helicopters & Aviationwww.cgrmtnhelos.com
