how to improve FS2002 from FS2004

Featured Replies

hi everyonelast day i was testing my FS9 and i was getting again enoyed to see that it does not run all my airports that i have and all my aircrafts that i have. i am sick to purchase most of the stuff again, that for what i paid a lot already in FS2002so i thought - what if i could convert my FS2002 to perform like my FS9?i made a safecopy of my complete installation of FS2002. then i started to copy elements from the FS9 to my FS2002finally it was amazing. some elements worked- i tried to copy the ATC file. since FS9 offers much better quality. unfortunately this did not work out :(- i tried with the aircrafts and panels. no luck the technology is different :(- airport sceneries. no luck :(- main textures. o yes, this one worked, and afterinstalling that my runway textures, grass, cities and clouds had a nice FS9 touch. even the landinglights and taxi lights now were looking like in FS9 :D- next i tried with the landclass, less luck, it gave me no visual improvement.conclusion:if you have FS9, but you don't want to replace all your add-ons, that is not available for free, you can do this until most of the add-ons are updated or free.- active camera- fs uipc- DF 737 (new release next year. no free update)- PSS 777 / 747 (new release next year. no free update)- PIC 767 (new release next year. no free update)for me only weather effects and ATC would be interesting. My FS2002 performs much better on my systemwith my FS Meteo and the weather add-ons for FS2002, the textures of FS) i am perfectly well enough.maybe next year i will switch ;)and maybe this interesting for anyone elsehave fun!
