Thanks. I found that thread and the instructions a bit confusing, and apparently the download for many is really slow. Then I came across another thread in the same forum that gives this as another download location:http://www.3dgamers.com/dl/games/lockonmac/lock_on.exe.htmlAfter several tries I got the Florida location to work, and it's currently downloading at about 15.5 KB/Sec on my DSL connection. It's supposed to take another two and a quarter hours. And it's not even October yet; well, well....

Mine was coming down at 45K a sec. Started slow, but speed up quite quickly.

I got mine last night and I got it at 358 Kb per second. I used the address from another post on their forum that was titled "Another Mirror", or something very similar. Only took me about 5 minutes to get the whole file. Good luck and enjoy it, I am!Philip

I read a lot about bugs, installation problems and system freezes, etc., during the download, but on my not-so-powerful system (Athlon 1700 XP, GF3 Ti 200, 500 MB) the demo has worked well and there have been no significant issues. I expect the issues apply to a minority of users. The demo is a job well done and will give prospective buyers a good look at what the product is like.I enjoy flying around in the A10. I'm not that interested in blowing things up, but for the heck of it I've fired missiles at buildings here and there, and into the water just to see what would happen. The missiles can be seen flying ahead nicely, but I haven't seen any explosions on the ground. I landed easily the first time I found an airstrip, but couldn't figure out how to turn the plane around to take off again.The mission in the Mig is a bit of a non-starter from my perspective. When I start it I try to turn around and fly elsewhere, but within 15 seconds or so I just keep getting hit and then it's nothing but warnings and fire. I might have to dispose of that Mirage first so I can go sightseeing.

I might have to>dispose of that Mirage first so I can go sightseeing.At the main screen click 'Opt' (Options), select ' Difficulty ' with the selector knob at the right/top, check 'immortal', that will take care of the Mirage ( he's good, isn't he.. x:-) )I think the cockpits are amazing, big bummer the're not clickable and we have to settle for a myriad of key combinations! :-mad Better check 'm !
