Windsocks on runway

Featured Replies

I did a couple of searches, checked the sticky threads at the top of the forum and could still not find an answer for my question. How can I remove windsocks that are right in the middle of the runway? At IKV, there are actually 2. It really kills the realism to bring in the Lear and see those things just sitting right in your way. Not to mention that you have to turn off collisions, or they will promptly end your flight. I have kind of been out of the flightsim loop for a while, so if this problem has already been addressed and fixed, I apologize, but would like a link. Thank you.Craig

AFAIK the only way is for MS to go back through the file that contains info for that airport and move them over. Its really pretty simple to do if you know which file contains that airport. There are also a few airports that have small buildings sitting on the runway, these are the types that are usually beside runways--most likely electrical type of sheds. There is also the issue of the 15,000 ft holes in the ground in various locations. There is a file put out by a user that fixes most of those. Shows how easy MS can fix these other problems....David
