October 6, 200322 yr Any ideas of what I do about my dual monitor problem would be appreciated. I have read all the threads on dual monitors but I cannot get FS9 to work in full screen mode with any windows such as the radio stack on the other monitor. I have XP Home running two video cards - a Geforce2 Pro GTS and a Velocity 128 (yes I know they are not state of the art). I have tried taking the window to the edge of the main screen and closing and reopening it but get nothing on the second monitor. If I use window mode then, yes, I can seperate them but, soon as I go to full screen mode, it pulls the other window back onto the main monitor. With FS2002 I can successfully seperate them in fullscreen mode by undocking the window - the dragging the window half off the screen technique doesn't work in FS2002 either. I have both monitors with the same refresh rate and, with the desktop, at the same resolution. Any suggestions - I much prefer to fly in full screen mode rather than windowed mode.Nigel BarkerStillingtonNorth YorkshireUK
October 6, 200322 yr Goto the hardware tab in display settings of FS9. At the top, it should show your main display adapter. Expand this and see whether your second monitor card, the velocity 128, is listed. If so, then select it and set the resolution to the same as the one which you are using for your gf2. If it's not listed, it means FS9 does not recognise your video card or it doesn't support 3d in fs9. I'm afraid you're out of luck if this occurs.Regards,Lazerin
October 6, 200322 yr This is a known problem. My suggestion, get used to flying in Windowed mode. Only way to do it is switch to window mode, then drage screen to second monitor, then swtich back to full screen. But as soon as you switch views or do anything else, it all just goes back to the main screen.Matt
