How can I mage my page file allocation a whole lot less thus freeing up ram for [email protected]

Making your page file less causes you to use ram more. This can be a good thing because your ram is faster than your hard drive. This is assuming you have ram to spare. To change your page file size, right click on My Computer and go to properties. Hit the Advanced tab, then hit Settings in the Performance box. Hit the next Advanced tab, then look at the bottom where it says Virtual Memory and there is a Change button there. It has been said that making your Initial size and your Maximum size the same amount is a good thing, forget why but it has something to do with less things for Windows to worry about.Hope this helps.

Thanks Alot.I'll Try It.

I have seen usage peek at 730 Megs under Wun-XP, and if I had not had 1G RAM i would have seen more stuttering is all...Allen
