finally some performance on POSKYA330

Featured Replies

I finally get around 40-50 fps in the POSKYA330...but it involves some sacrifices...1st...you have to set your VC Quality to Low...2nd you must remove the texture for the VC if you haven't already...and 3rd...you have to remove all entry's in the panel.cfg that say [VCockpit] my specs: P4C 2.6Ghz, Radeon 9800, 512MB PC3200 (oh and make sure you haven't selected "system cache" in the advanced options of My Computer...it will really cause alot of frustration)

WHY?????Motion Picture Only Runs At 25fpsHuman Eye can detect 18fps(I think)So all the System resources used for those Extra 25 Frames are pretty Much A waste So you sure are Involving some Sacrifices

i get constant stutters with the VC enabled and 2 minute texture loadings while in game.fps constantly dropped and raised from around 50 fps - 14 fps :[

I found the plane isnt THAT BAD on fps, but uses waaay to much memory. after inserting this thing into a small fs9 default airport, the hardrive went bannanas. ive never seen anything like it, and i got alot of payware as well including the pss airbus. i only got 512mb of ram, but still managed ok with every other plane to date. for curiosity i went and checked how much hardrive space the a330-200 alone used....300MB for the 3 engine variants!still i appreciate poskys hard work but the plane isnt for me.

Hey guys I'm making a non VC version with wingviews. Should be done tomorrow. This will save A LOT of frames and hard drive space... and I mean A LOT lol.

Great news Sherv that you're making a non-VC version for us framerate-obsessed bunch. Don't mean to nag, but could you make the back of those RR's darker as well?? :-)
