October 12, 200322 yr I loved that aircraft but its textures bring my system to its knees. I only have an AMD xp1800+ with a GF2 ti (64 mb) and 512 mb of ram...What I did was to use the MS imagetool to compress them to DXT3. That reduced the total amount of memory usage from 93 mb to 27 mb. It helped me a lot!Command line that I used:imagetool.exe -batch -DXT3 -nomip -bmp *.bmpBecareful with the VC textures as they should not be compressed if you're using fs2002.You can get the tool at: http://download.microsoft.com/download/Fli...extures_sdk.exeAlways keep a backup of the textures in case something goes wrong or you don't like the results. Also, in the aircraft.cfg, I changed:gear_system_type=0 to gear_system_type=1 //gear system is hydraulicyaw_damper_gain=0.000000 to yaw_damper_gain=1.000000 //aircraft has yaw damper. It might be possible that all your imported aircraft (jets) need those changes in the aircraft.cfg.Regards and thanks to the Posky Team!
