My FS2002 Website

Featured Replies

Well, I guess I shouldn't have waited until FS2004 was released before I created a website of the stuff I have done for Fs2002, but better late than never. :-)Since I'm going to be sticking with FS2002 for a while, might as well catalog what I have done. To think that all I ever wanted to do was replace a couple of gauges on panels I thought needed it. What an addiction this simulator can be, eh?http://salasnet.com/fs/index.html

You said it, Jorge! And don't worry, you're not alone in sticking with FS2002 for a while. Many will. I use it when I actually want to go flying, whereas FS2004 is just a development check tool for me right now. It grinds to a stuttering halt after half an hour.FS98 was great, FS2000 was a pig. FS2002 was fabulous, FS2004 is a patch with pretty (unusable) weather. Hopefully, on that track record, FS2006 will be EPIC!Off to see your site now. Keep up the great work. Thanks Jorge, I know I have used some of your addons when I had FS2002, hope you get Fs9 one day as it would be nice to see your skills put to use in the future.Really sorry FS9 isn't working for you Mark! I have a version on my design PC that flies ok with the fixes and tweaks, but my High end FS PC flies it with no tweaks, everything full and real weather and does so beautifully, flew around Africa in the Porter this morning for 2 hours, not one problem. I am really amazed at how it looks between the 2 PCs, pretty spectacular. Hope someone finds the way to make it work for everyone.Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://mysite.verizon.net/res052cd/mybannercva1.jpgCalVirAir International VAwww.calvirair.comCougar Mountain Helicopters & Aviationwww.cgrmtnhelos.com

Understood, Mike; apart from the well-documented bugs, it's really just down to needing yet another hardware upgrade to get FS9 to run sensibly - as you highlight. I had simply hoped that only having upgraded my system 18 months ago, it might have a longer useful life. I cannot be the only one who finds it hard to explain to a wife who still uses Word 2.0 on a 100MB box in the corner with no problems that I need yet another computer upgrade ...Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg
