i did as someone said, downloaded the default commercial traffic package and installed it like a regular package, but the AI planes are ther still. can someone help? would it help to deleat the default ai planes to get rid of default traffic as i never fly the default planes?adamYou cant truley understand flying until you have actually tasted and felt it.

Hint: Do not delete the default planes - you may end up deleting their sound and panel files - bad idea as almost all planes refer to one of these.Try searching for 'replacement' in the file library. If you dont want to mess around with Traffic Tools v2, then the alternative could be to go into each of the aircraft that is used for default traffic and into their respective Aircraft.cfg's (using notepad). Inside there, change the "title=" line a little and thus it wont match with the default flightplans.For instance the default Boeing 737-400's title line would say "title=boeing 737-400" the one after that will have "paint1" and so on added to it. Just change the lines slightly like delete the -400 bit.This will make it not show up as default ai traffic.Please note that if you change the title line for the startup aircraft that shows when you fire up the sim - such as the Cessna - it will make the sim exit.
