DC-3

Featured Replies

I downloaded/installed Trev Morson's aircraft.cfg file recently to modify the handling characteristics of the default DC-3 in FS9. I noticed the download also included a file titled aircraft.cfg-special-effects.cfg. There was no mention of it in the readme file. Does anyone know what to do with that file? Thanks.Dewey

Use that file as your AIRCRAFT.CFG only if you have downloaded the DC-3 effects package by Jan Rosenberg. You'll need to rename it accordingly, of course.Otherwise, just use the standard one.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg

DarkMoment explained how to handle the file so I am here to tell you that you will really enjoy the special effects. Start up the DC-3 and switch to outside view for a wonderful rendition of the oil smoke pouring briefly out of the exhaust pipes. Be sure to use Trev's sounds too. I think someone else did the special effects, though. Marvelous.DonaldS
