November 16, 201015 yr Stab trim is based on balance units found in a table within the POH. Dispatch calculates your balance units based on how the aircraft is loaded. Your balance units are on the dispatch release along with your takeoff gross. You find the trim setting by using the weight and the balance units on a table. These two figures will produce the trim units.If your flight model does not calculate at least MAC or balance units for you to use against a table in the manual, I don't know how you would calculate your trim setting for TO.
