Parking brake disengagement

Featured Replies

Never put attention to that, but I didn't manage to get the parking brake released by applying full toe brakes as described in the manuals, only the "." key on the keyboard works...

Press twice. It always applies differential in my case (or was it left/right?).

Same "problem" for me (if that can really be called a problem).Anyway I don't mind having to hit the "." key to set the parking brake off...Strange thing is that on the 747-400X applying full toe brake does correctly set off the parking brake.I don't want to jump on your post but I sometimes wonder if this has nothing to do with the 747 autobrake issue when using rudder padels. On the MD-11 the autobrakes do work but braking does not set off the parking brake. On the 747-400 braking does set off the parking brake but the autobrake does not work.just a thought...

Funny :( So you either have a plane with working autobrakes where you cannot disengage the parking brake, or one where you can do exactly this, but where autobrakes don't work :blink:Maybe PMDG should mix both planes :(?
