Repaint for FSX SUPER 80 CLASSIC

Featured Replies

Hello....I have a FSX Super 80 Classic REPAINT that is NWA in the "bowling shoe" livery done by John Patterson. At "night", using MS FSX, when I put the logo light on the TAIL, the TAIL lights up as CONTINENTAL's LOGO instead of NWA....while the BODY of the aircraft remains in the NWA "bowling shoe" livery. Without the logo light "on" for the tail lighting, the tail is RED which is normal for this NWA livery. Why would this be happening and is there a "fix" available? The download file is: nea_oc.zip from the AVSIM library. Is there a modification to the aircraft.cfg file necessary? Please be advised that I am NOT a "paint designer"....just a novice "repainter". I can provide a picture-file if necessary. Thanks! Machguy

Hi and welcome !I do not have the airplane in my computer, nevertheless I downloaded the textureset you`re talking about. This kind of glitch cannot be solved by editing a cfg file. The problem lies in the fact the painter included the wrong files for the light effect.Contact John Patterson and ask him for the correct version of the files and please ask him for a re-upload to the AVSIM Lib. of the corrected skin-set.Best regardsLeen de JagerPSBased on John Patterson`s original tail I made a fix ( just to test and to make sure )http://www.dutchfs.com/crew/leen/tijdelijk/FIX.zip
