October 19, 200322 yr I was browsing FSGenesis store, and noticed a GalaxyPlus membership, which is a lifetime membership. You think FSGenesis will still be updating it's sceneries 10 years from now? 20?
October 19, 200322 yr If you recall, some vendors have recently revised their "One Time" membership fees to reflect different FS versions. FSGenesis'Lifetime option precisely means never having to write that irrate: "I thought I was covered for this release" post.Regarding the "10 years from now" bit, I haven't a clue. But in the meantime, what ever Justin publishes, I'm covered for as long as either of us care to continue. And as my Daddy once said, "That is a very good thing." Racartronit means something, but I just can't remember what
October 21, 200322 yr Hi,i be a GalaxyPlus meber since two years now and even if Justin stop his service today I got more for my money than anywhere else.Think about what you get as GalaxyPlus member...You got the whole US in excelent 38 meters, the whole Us landclass, South America mesh in 76 meters, Canada in 76 meters and several other special areas in 9.6 meter resolution. If you would buy this for download only you would pay $164.15 so the membership with CD delivery for $150 is a very good price.I think that Justin will do his business for several years, but 10 or even 20 years is a very long time, so I guess nobody could say yes or no. But you get today more stuff than anywhere else.ByeMarkus
October 21, 200322 yr Not that it's any of my business, but hey... this is a forum.I think Justin would do well to offer a new membership class now that he has download capability. It would be GalaxyPlus Lite (lifetime), for $100.00, and include download only. Sort of like Bud Lite...:-beerchugI think this could be very popular. A little less risk... a lot of benefits.Bob (Lecanto, Fl)
October 21, 200322 yr Author I've been very happy with my lifetime membership. I have already received more in value (to me anyway) than what I paid for the membership. If Justin closed shop tomorrow, I wouldn't be upset (well, maybe I would), but still would already have received my money's worth.
