CH USB Throttle - Disable Mini-Joystick?

Featured Replies

Is there a way on the CH USB Pro Throttle to completely disable the Mini-Joystick?...It seems to be interfering with my other joystick......Thanks

You could use CHCtlMgr (CH's programming software) to disable or reassign the mini-stick. However, this will change the way the USB Pro Throttle is seen by Windows - and thus FS200* - so it's possible/likely that any button assignments you've made for it and other controllers will have to be re-done. (This is because (I believe) you'll have to use CHCtlMgr's "Mapped Mode" rather than Direct Mode. In Mapped Mode, the Throttle appears as more than one device to Windows, and this will change the device ordering/numbers and names.)Another possible approach is the reduce the sensitivities of the min-stick's axes to zero...But - if your other stick is USB, then they should have different controller assignments. I can't see how the mini-stick would interfere with your main stick from a Windows standpoint.Make SURE that you have the proper axes assigned - and only being controlled by one device - on the FS200* Joystick Axes page. You have to select each device via the drop-down select field to make the assignments - assuming you're talking about pitch and roll control being whacky, make sure that you do not have Ailerons or Elevator being controlled by both your mini-stick and your main joystick. I just tried this, and it is possible to do that.Hope that helps.Dave Blevins

Thanks for the quick reply! You solved my problem...The axes for both X and Y were assigned to both devices...I just deleted the assignment for the Throttle...A simple fix for a frustrating problem! Thanks so much...Steve in Kansas
