Learjet panel

Featured Replies

When you hit "W" to get a better view, you get the important instruments. On the Learjet, you get a blocked windshield because the instrument is so high. Is there a way to use the instruments of the Cessna 172 for example, like in FS2002? All the other planes don't seem to have this problem.

In the VC, you can shift your view up by using various combinations of the Control and Chift keys with the Return and Backsapce keys. That's probably the easiest thing to try. Or...You can edit the panel or swap panels around by tweaking the aircraft's panel config file in any text editor (make a back up copy of the panel if you are at all unsure about how to do that). Basically you copy and paste sections from any aircraft panel to any other aircraft and FS will then load up different stuff for the aircraft based on what you have told it to do via the panel config file. You can also alter the placement of gauges by altering the co-ordinates of stuff in the config file. If you read the tutorials in the FS SDK, it will explain what everything means in the config files, but to be honest, it is easier to simply make a back up copy and then play around to discover for yourself what any changes you make will do.Alternatively, you could actually make you own panel from scratch, and if you want to do that, the easiest way is to use the (payware) FS Panel Studio (which you can buy from Flight One's website, although there is also a free demo of it at the developer's website).Al
