FS9 audio to separate card

Featured Replies

Windows XP, FS9, standard Realtek stereo sound card within ASUS motherboard. When I launch FS9 everything goes out through this card as usual. Then I plug in a set of USB headset & microphone and FS9 audio then switches to the USB headset. :( Is there any way to maintain FS9 audio to the main sound card and not get it on the USB headset ?Other (more recent) software give the ability for you to choose the path of their sound output if you have multiple sources.Kyprianos Biris

Hi,I forgot how this is done in XP, but check control panel and sound and go to sound devices or something like this. There, you can switch from sound card to USB. I have WIN 7 and I have FS on speakers and TS (sound and microfon) on my USB headphones.

Hi,No, just in FSX can you do this.

Well, it is possible with FS2004 and Vista and Windows 7.
