That's just the registry key to run the facility editor programme. It appears you are trying to edit the airac update file. That file is the result of your editing! you should have a copy in the facility editor directory AND in FS addon scenery\scenery so check with notepad that your changes have been made regardless of any DOS error messages.vololiberista

No i am not trying to edit the airac update file. Airac update BGLs are being created in the facility editor directory ONLY & program is not copying these resultant BGL files to FS addon scenery\scenery folder on its own. Instead i have to MANUALLY copy these BGLs to FS Addon Scenery\scenery folder in order to make them work.It used to copy them automatically earlier.

Best thing then is to delete the programme and re install it.vololiberista

have tried this too.. not working.strange thing: the same program is working fine on another pc. I tried copying that working set of facility editor folder from that pc to mine. But same error. Both PCs have same win7 & fs.Program is parsing the files successfuly but not able to copy them to addon scenery by its own.I'll try re-installing fs on another drive. Lets see if it works.

Ok i just tried something...1. Changed the main FS folder name from "F:\Flight Simulator 9" to "F:\MS FLIGHT"2. Changed the FS Path in registry by FS Registry Repair Tool3. Changed the folder name to "MS FLIGHT" in FACILITY EDITOR's fs9.reg key so that the program knows the new location of fs & added it to windows registry.& it has started working !!! it is copying files to fs addon scenery\scenery folder now...The first error "The system cannot find the path specified" is gone now.The second Error still persists:The file cannot be copied onto itself0 files copied"Could not find F:\Facility Editor\airac_update_*.xml & "airac_update_*.bgl"Though i am able to see waypoints in FS now but what is causing this second error when everything is working now.& what could be wrong with old folder name >> F:\Flight Simulator 9\

I think it's to do with Win7. Bear in mind that you are using an old DOS programme. Even FS9 won't work with the usual Programme Files\ directory path. Even with XP I have to right click the mouse and select open. Otherwise the exe doesn't work.vololiberista
