Flight Modeling Forum?

Featured Replies

I'm wondering how many guys would agree that we need a Flight Modeling section added to the MSFS forums here at AVSIM? With all the improvements that have been made in nearly all aspects of the sim it really seem that this is the one area that's lagging behind. Let's face it, the MSFS FM is getting pretty long in the tooth. Update rate, smoothness, adverse yaw and ground interaction all need help. Not to mention a far easier and better documented way of making accurate FMs. What do you guys think? Is this subject just as important as mesh scenery or panels and gauges?TonyDigital-Flight

At the moment the only place in AvSim is the "MS Aircraft and *" Forum. That is not too busy to lose Flight Dynamics questions but I can't go back further than 9 pages unlike here where I can go back 61 pages. So I could have repeated my comments in a previous thread. Not everyone reads all possible boards and so many new readers will not know to go to AvHistory for .air file support etc. So if you want a seperate Forum here for the less mind numbing reverse engineering the Air Decode Forum was set up for then there will be enough support to help the non-aerodynamics engineers (self taught or not) out with their problems and maybe get more eyes on shaking out the new FS9 stuff which a few people can't do for all the different aspects.Ian
