December 15, 201015 yr Hello guys,I was wondering if anyone could help! I am trying to install FSX deluxe version on my new machine. But everytime I try to run the setup application from disc 1 I get a message saying that the application could not run because its side by side configuration... and to try to look at the log of the application, etc. I did a fresh install of win7 twice, but nothing, I upgraded all the 60 new upgrades from microsoft, I don't know what to do? I have search all over and all i can find is people talking in code mode, more like trying to write programs, etc. If anyone would help, it would mean a lot! Thanks in advance!Sorry guys, this is the message I get whenever I run the setup application in Win7. thanks
December 15, 201015 yr I've never seen this error ever... but I would suggest using Google to look the error up.Chances are this is not a FSX error, but rather a system error which your computer is throwing. (Hint: A google search may tell you to reinstall some library files, such as the x86 and x64 C++ libraries and such)Good luck!-Greg

I did see though, a lot of threads that did not have any responses regarding this issue. If I was going to change the library files, how would you do that? Its just a little vague for a guy who is not familiar with WIndows computers:)
