US Air Express

Featured Replies

In AFCAD2, what is the airline name for US Air Express in parking? (B1900 service). There are three options: US Airways, US Airways (Regional Partners), and US Express... which one should I select? Thanks!:-jumpyhttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg------------------Kenneth WeikTWVA395 / [email protected]

I would definitely go with "US Airways (Regional Partners)", since that's how the B1900's are operated--by folks like Colgan Airlines and Chataqua Airlines, not by USAir themselves. Regards,MarcMarc Gibson

Yes, use the Regional Partners code if it is available. Use that code for any of the USAirways Express repaints. Otherwise you will have to have in-depth knowledge of the airline industry to know whether you should use a Piedmont, Chautauqua, Alleghany, Colgan, Mesa, or Trans States code! And even then, Chautauqua, Mesa and Trans States will operate aircraft in the colors of other mainline partners. So then if you just used their codes, you would not be able to separate the USAirways Express planes from the American Connection planes from the America West Express planes from the Delta Express planes if any of those airlines are at the same airport. Good grief. Just use the Regional Partner code. USAXThe third US Express is actually a different small cargo airline.
