Hi All, I have just downloaded the captain sim 757-200 and maddog md82. When i open the 757 e.g. select aircraft, 757, a message pops up saying that fsx needs to close. With the md82, it just closes instantly, no warning or anything. Strangley though, when i select the aircraft and click details i.e.not loading them , both aircraft load normallyAny help would be greatThanks

We can probably help you if you tell us a few things about your system - like what flavor of operating system you're using - like is your FSX loaded on C drive - is it a 64-bit system - and the biggee - do you have UAC turned off? :biggrin:Oh - and Welcome to the club!

Thanks for the reply. I am using Windows Vista, 32 bit os, My fsx directories are located on D: drive, although i moved it from C drive some 6 months ago. I copied the ENTIRE fsx stuff across. Sorry, but i don't know what UAC is?

Just realised what UAC is!! :Hypnotized:Yes its turned off!

What comes to mind first is that the FSX path has been borked by the move. You might try the FSX path 'fix' from Flight1 before doing anything major:-http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=libraryDownload and run the FSX/FS9 Registry Repair tool then come back here.
