January 5, 201115 yr On a laptop with windows 7. Not the touchpad mouse although it has the same problem.I have fs9 on my desktop and when I point the mouse over an instrument in an aircraft, it would show in a little box what that instrument was reading - as an example, altimeter is reading 7900, and putting mouse over it shows 7897. Does that make sence? When using the aeroworx King Air for instance, hovering the mouse over the power levers would show the % they were positioned at.But on my laptop I also have fs9 but the mouse - touchpad or external mouse - doesn't do this. Doesn't sound like a big deal but was real handy for flying the aeroworx King Air with the power levers, iTT indicators, etc getting accurate indications. Is there anyway to enable this on my laptop? I've tried looking into the mouse settings but I can't find anything on how to change it.Any help appreciated. Jon.
January 6, 201115 yr I believe you need to check the "show cockpit tooltips" within the general settings or similar in FS9.
