Tracking AI Aircraft from Tower/Locked Spot

Featured Replies

Gentlemen (and Ladies)! I am interested in adding a camera.cfg in tower view/locked spot in Multiplayer (self-hosting) mode. Any suggestions? Basically, I am trying to figure out how to select and track aircraft on final approach to touchdown. Thank you wonderful people in advance for ANY ideas and/or suggestions!Daz

Assuming you want something other than the default Tower view? This you can place anywhere...A "Fixed location" camera is what you are looking forHere is one temporarily inserted in my King Air for a MP flight.Such cameras can be added to cameras.cfg (while FSX off)or to the end of a saved flight (before you start it up)or to the aircraft itself ANY TIME - even during a flight. If in the aircraft you can add or edit it and if you save and 'reload aircraft'- set a hot key for this - it will be immediately availableNote: lat/lon will accept Wxx.yyy and probably -xx.yyycamera elevation is in METERS above ground.Track = None will allow full panning etcTrack = Track will follow you alwaysdefault orientation is North if non-following so you may want to initially point it along the approach path.movement parameters are optional and a little bit tricky to use (VC keystrokes; N-S/E-W based; not linked to viewing direction like slew!)
