January 21, 201115 yr 2 quick questions:On takeoff In the 208 grand caravan, are you supposed to watch your ITT and keep it in the green - which on a standard temp day will certainly go beyond that threshold at full power (at least in Carenado's model), or is it proper to always set full throttle for takeoff no matter what the ITT is reading and then get it back into the green during climb?Which leads me to my other question: Is ITT maintained solely with the throttle/power setting? Thanks in advance.
January 21, 201115 yr PT6's are torque limited on takeoff, and ITT limited at altitude, As usual, incorrect modeling,No one has gotten the PT6 right yet.
