Help with C206 repaint needed please

Featured Replies

Ok so Im trying to complete this repaint of the Carenado 206, and one final bit has really got me stumped! I just cant't work out whats going on with it, so all suggestions and advice will be most apprciated.Heres the problem:help.jpgAs you can see the small white bit well that should be red lol.And this is how it looks on the texture. The yellow line is in the right place to match up to the yellow line of the fuse.Carenado206Fusecopy.jpgIve tried painting favrious parts of the texture in the top corner red trying to work this out but still cant figure out whats going on with it. The only way I managed to get the bit that shows up white as red was to paintthe whole component red :(Thanks in advance.

Awesome cheers Jeff but what I cant work out is where the forward part of that grey strip in your picture is? As you can see from my texture the lowwl marker is on one extreme end of it. WIth matches up to the other side green and red lines. See the edit of you pic attached. Lable 1 is the part thats got me stumped. Lable 2 is where I have the yellow painted on my texture. Doesnt make any sense to me lolNOSE.jpgThamksMatt

Sorry...forgot to add this...nosetrouble2.jpgThis may be one of those area's that may cause you problems..note the "Double mapped area?"Jeff

Thanks very much for you help Jeff, very much appreciated! I think it will be better just being left white. I wonder why Carenado mapped their textures in this way for the 206? Its not the case on the 172, 182 and 152 lol. Thanks againMatt
