February 5, 201115 yr I recently purchased Wilco CRJ700 addon for FSX and I'm running it on WIN7 64bit under a 3ghz CPU and graphics card with 1GB RAM. I'm also both an experienced with both flight sims and actual real life cockpits. With the other addons i have, when starting the engines from 'cold' it's not necessary to shut down the APU to get enough bleed pressure to start the engines. On the CRJ700 model from WILCO, when starting my CRJ700 from cold and dark, I have followed the recommended procedures from several check lists for engine start several times now, but after starting the port engine, and switching off the left engine start, I cannot get the starboard engine N2 to go beyond about 12.5% without shutting down the APU. When I've done this, there is sufficient boost to get it over this figure and up to 20% to open the fuel valve.I have the following questions: Am I following the correct procedure and does the APU really have to be shut down when starting the second engine? Is it likely that I have a corrupt file? If the latter is so, how can I correct this, preferably without uninstalling and reloading the program?
