GoFlight v OpenCockpits

Featured Replies

Evening all, i am currently looking for an EFIS module to use with the Level D 767, PMDG 747, and when released the NGX and Level D 757 (all FSX). I have narrowed it down to the GoFlight EFIS module and the OpenCockpits EFIS-737 module. They are both pretty much identical in terms of functionality but what i have been unable to determine, is if the Mode and Range rotarys can be pushed in and used as TFC and CTR buttons on either module. Does anyone know if either module has this function? Could owners of either modules please let me know what they think of their unit. Thanks for your help.

You can't push-in the two selector switches on the GoFlight EFIS, but other than that the unit performs very nicely with the PMDG 744 and in general, as well as all the other hardware I have from GoFlight (MCP-PRO, LGTII, GF-46 and RP-48).Cheers,- jahman.

HiI have the open cockpits so called plug and play efis..yes both knobs are push also..be aware that this requires IOCP in FSX and will not work with default aircraft...if you are doing a homebuid with Magenta panes etc then yes it would be fine, it also works with PMDG and i assume is ready for the 737ng (if ever released)...The opencockpits MCP works great in the default 737 in FSX, although things like LVL CHG and V/S buttons dont function as default has not these functions but geared up for 737ngPaul
