February 18, 201115 yr I've been getting some pay and freeware photoreal scenery for much of the west and developing my own scenery for NM as a hobby.I would very much like to try out some of the higher resolution meshes but have read mixed review on them. Sometimes I'll see screenshots and videos of photoreal scenery and it looks pretty spectacular. I have a fairly good system and have been trying out various settings as read on these forums. But I have yet to try higher res meshes. I assume they help out with lower altitude flying but are not so useful at higher altitudes. I do a bit of both.Any advice is welcome, thanks.
February 18, 201115 yr Here you can see two screens of an approach to Bern Belp LSZB: http://www.flightfor...&postcount=2737A NEXTmesh from France VFR with a vertical resolution of 10 centimeters has been used. I wouldn't like to miss this anymore. Best regards from RelaxX
February 18, 201115 yr If...you fly low and slow around 1,000AGL,have good mesh and photo scenery, have a strong enough machine andenjoy the topographical features of FSX, then...Yes, it does look better, IMO. Somewhere on the HD is a screen grab of a large pond area on some farm land that sits just perfectly into the 2.38m mesh underneath. I can try to find it, but can't post it. So you could drop me a PM and I could email it. Drive up the I-15 and help with some house painting and I could really, really try to find it fast... :(
