Hey guys,I need a recommendation for a video card specifically for FS2004. I'm running a P4 2.26Ghz with 512mb of RAM and an 80gig HD, so the next logical thing to do is upgrade from my GeForce 4 MX440 card. I need something that's going to work well in FS2004 (I actually want to be able to see the new water effects), and give me good performance and quality with my machine. Price isn't a big issue. If price truly isnt a big issue, I'd say a ATI Radeon 9800 XT 256MB card would be best, and its top of the line too. But if you want to be more reasonable with the price, I would probably go with the 9800 Pro 128MB or the 9700 Pro 256MB. As far as my budget goes, I'm probably getting a 9600 Pro 256MB for about $140, but I'm not sure as the GeForce 5600 Ultra seems to be a better performer for the price... as far as top of the line cards go, I would go with the 9800 XT :)
