Flightplan (.pln) files

Featured Replies

Hi folks, I wonder if anyone knows of a third party prog that I can use to make flightplans that might include a lot of waypoints? Its important that it converts the flightplan into a .pln file that can then be put into my FSX flightplan folder.thx all :)

Well, Plan-G is quite useful - I use it most of the time. I especially like its editing capabilities and it can build a plan a leg at a time without specifying the destination in advance.Loyd

ahhh - ok :) I can see the D for a quick flightplan, so after i made that i can drag the line around on the map and add waypoints, right?how do I save that as a .pln to put into my fsx folder?ty :)

I do believe FS Build has several flight plan export options for payware aircraft. FSX. and other flight planners. .PLN files should be one of those export options. You may wish to check out VRoute Premium or Dispatch Planner X. Plan-G is a good one, but I find the map to be a CPU killer.
