Area 51 in FS2002?

Featured Replies

Hi allI am just wondering if Area 51 is in the FS2002 aircraft database? What about other mysterious places like Easter Island, Bermuda Triangle, Devil's Tower etc?ThanksDon

I think you mean the scenery database. Area 51 is not included but is available in at least one addon. I just read a post somewhere about the Bermuda Triangle and it is not available as a mysterious area where aircraft are likely to disappear for unknown reasons. Being a geographical area it is included by default.I would think Easter Island, being a real place, is included but I have never looked for it and I don't know whether it would have an airport.

And the default Devil's Tower in FS2K2 is a joke. But there is an addon which gives you a reasonable facsimile of it -- certainly MUCH better than the little nub of ground MS included.-Lindy P. S. I'm pretty sure the DT addon can be found here in the Library.

Easter Island is in the default Fs2002. It is part of Chile. It is located about 2,000 or so miles west of Chile. It does have a small airport(serviced in real life by Lan Chile) and roads so you can drive around to see the Moai artifacts scattered about.-------------------Racartronit means something, but I just can't remember what
