I just got one for my birthday and wanted to see what everyone thought..Thanks in advance!!JC

Hi JC,It's hard to make such a recommendation as so much depends on your hardware setup. My own experience has revealed the latest Omega Driver set 2.4.96c (based on the 3.9 Catalyst drivers from ATI) are by far the best, so far, for image quality and performance in FS2004. I have really had no stability issues with any Catalyst or Omega driver release, but again this may just be because I have been lucky enough to put together a system with a good combo of high grade components and I don't indulge in overclocking. My system:P4 2.4GHz (400FSB), 1Gig PC2100 DDR Crucial, ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB (Omega 2.4.96c), Hyundai ImageQuest Q17 17" Monitor (1280x1024x32), Gigabyte GA-8IRXP MoBo, Ultra-Quiet PSU 400W, WinXP Home (SP1), DirectX 9.0b...not the latest and greatest, I would agree, but maybe there is a lot to be said for not pushing the envelope too eagerly as we search for our personal nirvana when, by doing so, we can risk introducing so many variables and potential instabilities. Some enjoy the experience and challenge, I don't. Gone are the days when I fought interminably with Windows 98 to achieve that balance between performance and stability. Windows XP is a perfect pleasure to use in comparison and the ideal foundation on which to build a rock solid stable system.Mike

The Cat 9s are working fine for me. Flashing and blinking are gone for good.

Nice birthday present. I bet that put a smile on your face?
