Is there any way to create a squawk code for a panel radio that does not have a transponder?Harmon Barnard

No. The squawk code is transmitted by the transponder when queried by radar. As stated in the other thread posted a couple of positions down there are a number of transponder gauges available in FS that can be implemented in your panel. The opposite is true but RC4 does not handle loss of communications by tuning a specific transponder code, one of the reserved codes.

Okay. I was afraid of that. I will try to obtain the currrent version of FS Panel Studio for Windows 7and download a tranponder gauge that I can put into some of the panels. Thanks for replyingHarmon

Several of the default aircraft has separate transponders as part of the radio stack. Look at the Cessna IFR equipped 182s for GA ones and the Boeings for airliner types. Just look at the panel.cfg under panel for each aircraft folder. You will also need to enable it in the aircraft.cfg file as noted below:[Radios]// Radio Type=available, standby frequency, has glide slopeAudio.1=1Com.1=1, 1Com.2=1, 1Nav.1=1, 1, 1Nav.2=1, 1, 0Adf.1=1Transponder.1=1Marker.1=1This is from the FS9 C182rg for this example. As always, back up your .cfg file in a safe place.
