Microsoft Windows live ideas leaked

Featured Replies

The idea that MS is out to ruin the FS franchise via an evil Live Marketplace right from the Dark Side and by nickel-and-diming everything is short-sighted and puerile.I watched the video and recognize it for what it is: A presentation (most probably only for internal purposes) of the social potential of on-line gaming/simming.Me, I welcome these social aspects (provided they don't ruin the fight experience) because I think they are fun and because they will draw more folks into flight simming thus increasing sales revenue and therefore R&D available to continue improving the sim experience from all angles (flight, scenery, social), and that can only be good. And Add-On sales will also increase. In the opposite scenario a closed sim like FSX gets the team fired and simmers go 6 years without an update, so think what you want and choose wisely.)Let's face it, in a World overflowing with connectivity, mostly off-line games/simming are dinosaurs with poor sales numbers and belong in the past (except for chess, go and flight simming for professional training purposes.)Of course once Flight is released it will be fun to come back to these threads and see who said what.Cheers,- jahman.
