April 1, 201115 yr HiI have Piglet's T-28 and I've noticed something odd about the FDE. The whole aircraft seems way too heavy. When I try to rotate on takeoff, only the nose lifts off--the aircraft itself does not climb. I reach the end of the runway, apply a bit of nose-up trim so that the Trojan doesn't slam into the trees, and it lifts off very gradually, taking its own sweet time. When I finally DO take off, when I try to turn, it stalls about 50 feet from the ground and crashes. When I apply more trim at the start of the takeoff roll, it lifts off too early, stalls, and crashes back down onto the runway. Is there any cfg files I could tweak to make the FDE more realistic? Or is the T-28 really that nose-heavy?

April 3, 201115 yr Author Thanks! From the pireps I've read the FDE looks to be right on the money! Thanks again! Is it just me, or do Piglet's aircraft all have defective FDE's? The T-33 is overpowered, the C-133 seems too light, the OV-10 doesn't feel right...IMHOMethink Piglet (Tim Conrad) gather all is energy to model the planes (and he is good at this job) ... like Mr ItoFlight model is another part ... and sometime neglected...That's why some developers (in payware world mainly) are working in team with some people more interested on flight model design.
