Blank Display - Lower EICAS

Featured Replies

Greetings:I'm missing the display that sits between the two FMC CDU's in the VC. I assume that's the lower EICAS. The popups work fine in the 2D Panel and VC but the display has a blank screen in both cases. All other displays work fine in both views: PDF, NAV and upper EICAS.Am I missing a gauge or is there a dimmer button I need to adjust?I've tried all the options in the PMDG EICAS Styles page i.e "Show Control Surfaces (Lower EICAS)," Side-by-Side" and "Over/Under" in an effort to "populate" the lower EICAS per page 0-14 of the manual....but to no avail.I'm running FS2004 on XP and have the same problem with all versions 600/700 (v1.3) and 800/900 (v1.1 updated per the 800/900 Model Update 29JUL04). I've recently updated the unregistered version of FSUIPC (v3.98a), used the Flight1 app to correct the FS9 Registry and am hoping I won't have to uninstall and reinstall. Thanks for any help.Jim Martinaka RampStrike

On the Engine Display Control Panel, under the MFD label, did you press the "ENG" or "SYS" buttons? There is a good picture on page 7-38, Cockit & Sytems in the 07-Systems Operation manual.
