November 25, 200322 yr This is my first post after a year off and I know this is old news, but the new Citation II is exactly what I wanted! I've been drooling over this thing and I am one of the rare breed that likes no VC's (not really concerned if YOU have to have them or not) and a framerate friendly model. So I am really happy, I've flown nothing else since!I don't know if this a/c was a team effort, if it is, you team members are also idol worthy! I especially like the wing views. Thank you very very much!!! It's a beauty! I hope that you designers of this great aircraft see this post before it gets buried!!!I can't wait for the commander and king air.I think supporters of this A/C should make some noise for this crew!!! Let's hear some!!!
November 25, 200322 yr Gordon,It's great to see someone introduce/reintroduce themselves with a post like yours... I second everything you say about the Citation, and I also like the wing views.... I found playing around with spot view that they also modelled the cabin... Not quite sure why they didn't make it a virtual cabin, but who knows...it may appear in an upcoming release when they add the V/C update.... It seems a pretty decent virtual cabin for freeware....-John
November 25, 200322 yr Nice to meet you John, thanks for the thumbs up for our boys! I bet we will see a v/c for this bird eventually, but I may not want it, I guess I'm just easy to please when it's freeware and it's a plane I can't live without! I tell ya, I can't wait to get some repaints. Nice to meet someone who's quick to say "welcome!!!"Anyone else care to offer up some praise for the Citation II?
November 26, 200322 yr YES, Indeed!I would also like to offer a SUPER YYYYAAAAHHHHOOOO! on this one.I have been having a lot of fun with the Citation, and I think it is the best B-Jet for FS9, hands down!I have been playing around with the Force Feedback setting in the "aircraft.cfg.", but cannot get as much force as I would like.I'll tweak some more with this; but that is why we Flight Sim!My hat is off to this GREAT team.
November 26, 200322 yr Might you recommend a panel for the Citation II? There are several CII or C550 versions out there from which to choose--so your views would be much appreciated. Thanks,Mike --Mike MacKuen
November 26, 200322 yr BobRegarding the forcefeedback or lack of it in fs2004Have a look at this site and check the forum.http://www.dirks-software.ca/fs-force/It is payware, but you can try it for free when it comes out, it will run for 10 minutes to let you evaluate it.all the best John
November 27, 200322 yr Thank you very very mcuh guys!!, it means alot! to us, again thanks. It's been a pleasure to share this aircraft with this incredible community.
November 27, 200322 yr Thanks a lot for your comments about our Cessna Citation II. However, your title is quite confusing and I wish to clear things out. As a group, there are many people involved in the many projects we have, and I think it is unfair to entitle me with all credits.Veneaviones is a freeware group founded by Arnoldo Perdomo (an excellent modeller who is currently developing the Boeing 757 series for FFG in gmax, as well as the Beech King Air 200 of Veneaviones). The Cessna Citation II was modelled by Juan Miguel Ram
