Rex problem

Featured Replies

Hello,I have reinstalled my windows and I am setting up fsx from scratch again. But I have a problem when installing REX. I have installed REX and updated it to version 2 with service pack 3.Problem is that when I start REX for the first time it automatically search for my fsx folder and cfg file. I have an dedicated disk for fsx, so I think REX is first seatching trough C:? But my fsx folder and cfg file is on disk X:Ok so the problem is that REX are searching forever (1 hour) and seem to not find my fsx and cfg. Is it possible to stop this automatic search process of rex and find my cfg manually?Or should I just wait 5-6 hours and wait until REX maybe finds my fsx folder and cfg file on my other disk?

The first time you run REX you go to the configuration manager tab and enter the paths to both FSX and to your FSX.CFG. It doesn't need to go searching.

Problem was that REX automatically began searching for my cfg and fsx folder when starting REX, and I had no option to cancel the process. So now finally after 3 hours of searching I have come inside the configution window where I can manually make changes. lets hope things work out now :)
