Lago MD-80 Program

Recommended Posts

Is there a patch for the Lago MD-80 (Mad Dog) program that will allow it to run in FS2002? I have a friend that refuses to change over to FS2002 until he can fly this program in that sim version.Terry

No, it won't be updated. It was originally updated from an FS98 version, which still shows in the aircraft visuals which for example have no animation.Lago decided early on that an update for FS2002 would be either too costly (to do it correctly they would have to completely rewrite the product and create all new visual models as well as a new panel) or would not meet their standards (i.e. leaving the FS98 models and just fixing the errors the panel would give). There has been some gentle pressure put on them (like subtle hints in private conversation and forums. This is one such subtle hint ;)) to make a new FS2002 product based on the MD-80 series, but so far that hasn't been announced. :'(
