Problems changing panel state

Greetings all,I am having problems modifying and saving an MD11F panel state. I loaded the MD11F "short turn" scenario, and am trying to change it to having the external power and external air on, with the APU off. After getting the aircraft to the desired status (MCDU menu/External power and air connected....turn on EXT PWR on the overhead....turn off APU, then wait a minute for shutdown, etc), I am trying to save the scenario into the existing "short turn" panel state. However, the next time I load that same scenario, it's back to the old state (APU on, external power off, etc). I then tried saving it as a new scenario, but the response is "cannot save file". I have a feeling this may have something to do with Windows 7 admin rights, but I dont want to mess around with anything yet. Any ideas?Many thanks
