I thought this would be a brilliant bit of software but no!I am devastated I have no idea what in the world Tileproxy has done to my flight simulator :angry:I installed it correctlybut it wasn't tomy liking so I uninstalled it and rebooted but when I rebooted my Flight sim had completely blimmin changed.ALL my key assignments...deleted.My default flight had changed...cant put it backcamera views...completely buggered up. Don't know what on earth has happened to them.Graphics settings...reset to original settings.Wont start in windowed mode any more...when i switch between windowed and full screen it crashes.Worst of all I had loads of restore points available but now... all gone for some unknown reason.I am really really not happy about this and feel on the point of crying. I had just set everything up perfectly and now it's all gone. Please anyone I need some help I don't know what to do anymore.... :(

I, on the other hand, DO think it was some brilliant programming; used it with minimal problems, including several installs/uninstalls without issue for almost three years. I have not installed on my W7 system.I can empathize with computer issues but you've given very little information that anyone can help you with.Take a 24-hour 'breather' and come back at this with a little planning. You mentioned camera views so you must be using FSX but what OS, where is FSX installed, where were the TP components installed? how much free space on the OS drive - restore points can only use a specified amount of disk space and older must be deleted to make room for newer ones. This is a Windows responsibility not an installer task. If Windows is in such a shape that all restore points were lost, I'd be thinking clean OS install because I wouldn't trust it do anything any more...How did you uninstall TP - control panel or the TileProxy uninstall utility or just delete everything manually?Did you defrag after removing so much info?key assignments, settings... and your backups are where?Did you LET Tileproxy make changes to your FSX.cfg? Did it make a backup? did you?Is your scenery config back to the pre-TileProxy format?Won't start in windowed mode... then close FSX from the windowed mode - start mode is same as previous shutdown mode.If it doesn't, then it isn't saving your changes and you've got OS or permission issues as well.Camera.cfg... there is a backup in your install folder.Default flight... is just an entry in the fsx.cfg ( SITUATION=FLIGHTS\OTHER\FLTSIM ) just edit it to the original default.I believe my first FSX repair step would be to build a new FSX.cfg and make sure you have valid size and mode selected before trying to go to fullscreen. Setting the sim graphics back to what you had just takes a few minutes but only AFTER rebuilding the fsx.cfgI wish you well.Loyd

Hooked since FS4... now flying: FSX Acceleration on Win7/64, Core Duo E8400; GA-EP45-DS3R; GTX 460-768MB; 4G RAM; Freezer 7 Pro
