November 30, 200322 yr While I was doing my LH Cargo flight from Fairbanks to Incheon and was cruising over northeastern Siberia in the early morning I noticed these two strange "craters" somewhere around Magadan, I believe (forgot to write down the approximate coordinates, unfortunately). Anybody know what these are all about? Don't think they're supposed to be there, are they? :-hmmm I'm not using any terrain mesh for that area (in fact, I don't think there actually is any of that for Siberia), if that might else have been an explanation.http://520074603068-0001.bei.t-online.de/G...isc/craters.jpg
November 30, 200322 yr Wow, now those are craters! I guess it's just an error in one of the bgls. Someone once posted a pic with such a crater in an ocean...or was it a square mountain? hmm...However, at the beginning of the last century there was some phenomenon in siberia, which was possibly a meteor crashing but many think that aliens landed or some kind of weapons was tested or so...highly improbable that this is it, but who knows...(search on google for "Tunguska", e.g. http://www.usm.maine.edu/~planet/tung.html)-Daniel
December 1, 200322 yr I only see a Lufthansa cargo plane against a black background. Who sees craters? Jaap Verduijn.

December 1, 200322 yr Author Jaap, it's probably our monitor settings, I see the same, plane and dark background. I actually saved the pic and then lightenmed it so it would be visable and there are 2 craters, look kinda cool.Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://mysite.verizon.net/res052cd/mybannercva1.jpgCalVirAir International VAwww.calvirair.comCougar Mountain Helicopters & Aviationwww.cgrmtnhelos.com Best, Michael KDFW
