AI % Slider- % of what?

Featured Replies

I apologize if this has been put into a FAQ somewhere, but what the AI traffic slider percentage reflects the % of what? All the possible flight plans in your traffic bgl, or of the maximum number of aircraft possible... or what? Thanks,Chris

maximum number of flight plans in the FS9 traffic.bgl PLUS any additional traffic bgl's that you copy into the scenery folder from other internet sources or purchased software. For example:FS9 comes out of the box with say 5000 flight plans and you run traffic at 100% - in a 24hour day or 7 day week you will see all of these operateIf you add an additional 5000 flight plans (via addon bgl) - you will see 10000 flights take place.OR, use FS9 plus the addons and run traffic at 50% you will see 5000 flights take place (but probably more realistic flights and airplanes)that is how I understand it.

CPU: Core i5-6600K 4 core (3.5GHz) - overclock to 4.3 | RAM: (1066 MHz) 16GB
MOBO: ASUS Z170 Pro |  GeForce GTX 1070 8GB | MONITOR: 2560 X 1440 2K

However it may not work that way. If you add flightplans with ttools each flightplan (one AI aircrafts movements) specifies a certain slider setting where the it will appear. For instance MRAI-plans used to have the percentage set at one percent (but now you have the option of randomizing the percentage amongst the flightplans). That means that if the slider was at 1% or more all MRAI AI would appear.- Oyvind
