May 10, 201115 yr Hello:I am new to the 747-400 fir FSX and I am having trouble aligning the IRS.. I have followed the normal procedures checklist but I only get one of the IRS systems to align. The other two seem to sit on one minute and never change. I have set it to align immediately in the settings. Any ideas?Regads,Ronald Neil
May 10, 201115 yr Any ideas?All 3 IRS Switches from 'OFF' to 'NAV'...then enter PPOS via the FMS POS INIT Page.The IRS Switches are not saved as part of any previously saved or created panel state scenarios...so...prior to IRS Alignment if they are in any postion other than 'OFF' place them to 'OFF' before 'NAV' to start the process correctly. Don't get fixated with the 'ALIGN' position...that is a slightly different mode. Steve Bell "Wise men talk because they have something to say.
