I cannot use the wilco cold and dark setting because my parking brakes arent activated in fsx. I tried changing the default flight with the brakes set but it did not work. Any help is appreciated.

After loading the Airbus put on brakes and hit CTRL-SHIFT-D. That puts you to the cold and dark state.

AFAIK large aircraft don't have parking brakes when in cold and dark state because parking brakes require hydraulic pressure to be provided either by a running engine, a running APU or external bleed air to run an internal hydraulic pump. That's why they use wheel chocks!Cheers,- jahman.
